Welcome to Bridgegate Surgery
Bridgegate Surgery was established in the 1960s and operated from its original premises on Bridgegate until January 2008, when the practice moved to the new, purpose-built Retford Primary Care Centre. The new premises provide a spacious and comfortable facility from which to deliver our clinical care. Inevitably, over time, the doctors forming the partnership have changed and we now have a relatively young mix of GPs with a wide range of experience and specialist interests who practise together as a non-limited partnership. Their interests include GP training, dermatology, acupuncture, orthopaedics, sports medicine, family planning and paediatrics. We also have formal links with local universities and hospitals which give access to current developments in the medical world.

Opening Times
The surgery is open 8.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday, when telephone and face-to-face access to reception staff is available.
On Wednesdays and Thursdays we offer additional late appointments. These appointments
must be pre-booked and are primarily for patients who work and therefore find
it difficult to attend during normal surgery hours.

Disabled Access
There is lift access to the first floor of the Primary Care Centre, where all the Bridgegate Surgery services are situated. Disabled toilet facilities are provided. If you require assistance, please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff.

TEXT MESSAGING
Text messaging is now available at Bridgegate Surgery to remind our patients of their up-coming appointments. To enroll onto this service, we must receive a signed consent form from you, which are available from Reception. It's quick and easy, so why not complete one the next time you visit the surgery.
