Patient Participation Group

The Patient Participation Group was established to provide an independent overview of services and facilities at Bridgegate Surgery.

The Group consists of 20 volunteer practice patients. Whilst the PPG is not a vehicle for clinical complaints it will:

• Receive reports about and comment on operational matters relating to Bridgegate Surgery and make comments or suggestions thereon
• Be fully briefed about NHS and practice policies and delivery of services
• Publish a patient newsletter
• Establish a two-way communication between the partners, staff and patients

Membership of the PPG committee is open to all patients and staff of the practice.  We do have a membership limit of 20 patients at any one time.  If you are interested in joining the PPG Committee, please contact Gillian Wainwright, Business Manager on 01777 863455.

Date of Next Meeting

The next Patient Participation Group meeting is on
Tuesday 6th March 2012 at 7pm
The meeting will be held in the Retford Primary Care Centre, Room 1.
